Meet Rabbi Steven Kaye

Rabbi Steven E. Kaye has two decades of professional experience in Organizational Development, Team Building, and Executive Coaching. Steve is known for his highly interactive participatory style of seminars. Participants leave their sessions with practical and applicable materials that make an immediate difference. Rabbi Kaye has the ability to assist his clients in understanding how their personality styles and methods of conflict resolution impact their leadership and team-building skills. Steve's diverse training, experiences as a congregational rabbi, hospital chaplain, business consultant, and years of clinical social work practice are evident in his successful work with congregations, professional staff, boards, communal and governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations.

Steve served as adjunct faculty at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business - Department of Management MBA program where he taught: "High-Performance Management" and "Human Resources Management". Steve was also adjunct faculty at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. He instructed classes in group theory, social work with groups, and team building. Steve has earned national certification as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator [MBTI] administrator. He is a Strategic business partner with Wiley, authorized to administer DiSC assessments, and Five Behaviors of a Team. 

Rabbi Kaye has presented leadership, time-management, conflict resolution, leadership development, and MBTI workshops at the CCAR, ACC, NATA, National Association of Jewish Chaplains, and Association of Professional Chaplain's conventions. He is an active member of the CCAR - he was the Chair of the CCAR's Computer and Technology Committee.

Rabbi Kaye's consulting services in coaching and organizational development have been utilized by an array of managers and senior leadership in the business community. Steve's client list includes Columbia/HealthONE-Continental Division; CarePoint-Emergency Room Physicians, Greenwood Village, CO; Mountain View Midwives, Thornton, CO; National Association of Retail Dealers, Lombard, IL; Greenwood Village Police Department, CO; Denver Police Department, CO; National Association of Jewish Chaplains, Rocky Mountain Rabbinical Council, American Red Cross-Disaster Services; and Sunshine Consulting Outplacement Services.

Steve has been active in the Denver community by serving on numerous Boards since moving to Denver in 1983. Over the years he has been involved with the Jewish Family Service, Allied Jewish Federation, SafeHouse Denver, American Jewish Committee, ADL, CHAI-Jewish Domestic Violence Awareness, Rocky Mountain Rabbinical Council, Red Cross, and National Association of Jewish Chaplains. For 11 years, Steve hosted "House of the Lord" the longest-running ecumenical TV show in the United States on the local CBS affiliate. Rabbi Kaye continues his community involvement as Police Chaplain with the Denver Police Department and other Federal Law Enforcement agencies. Rabbi Kaye is an active member of the American Red Cross National Disaster Spiritual Care Critical Response Team and the Colorado - VOAD  Spiritual  Care Response team as a team lead and trainer. Rabbi Kaye is a NAJC Board Certified Chaplain (BCC).
