Over the years we have learned how to cram as much as possible into our day. Often what is left over is added to the next day's To-Do list. A congregational crisis, funeral, or unexpected event can create havoc for the rabbi, cantor and for other members of the Temple staff. Once others manage your time, you are out of control and the "Time Bandit" has won!

Where is your time for exercise, family, study, and prayer?

You can take control over your day and your life with a few easy steps. Use your Outlook, PDA, I-phone, Android, or paper calendar with a new approach and new set of skills. Don't be controlled. Take control!

Steven Kaye has been a tremendous asset in my professional growth. He has given me the tools to take control of my rabbinate, rather than my rabbinate take control of me. Thanks to my time with Steven I have learned a new sense of joy in my vocation and more confidence in it as well.

- Rabbi Matt Cutler, Congregation Gates of Heaven, Schenectady, New York

Steve has been a critical partner in my rabbinate. His perspectives are always thoughtful and passionate. In our conversations, he will help me to navigate current crises by referencing what he knows about my leadership style and then filling in the gaps with articles and organizational tools.
